Do you have an incoming kindergartner excited about school? Kindergarten screening sign ups are now open! Kindergarten screening is free to any child in Ozark School District who will be 5 years old on or before July 31.

You're Invited: Mike Essick Field Ribbon Cutting March 24

In April 2022, Ozark voters approved a $19 million no-tax increase bond issue to construct three storm shelters and an indoor activities building at the high school. In fall 2024, those projects were completed as promised. The district not only was able to accommodate growth, but remained under budget. The remaining $5 million is supporting capital improvement projects around the district and on March 24, we're celebrating the latest project, the new baseball field!

Informed Voting: Senate Bill 3

On April 7, 2026, voters in Christian County will consider a ballot measure related to limiting property taxes known as "Senate Bill 3". The public entities funded through property taxes, such as Ozark and Nixa fire districts, schools, senior services, CC Links, and other essential community services, want voters to understand the potential impact of this measure before casting their ballot.

Snow Day Procedures

In case Ozark School District needs to cancel school, use late start procedures or early release procedures due to inclement weather, we want you to be informed of the process. Student and faculty safety is the primary concern in making the call for cancelation versus late start or early release.

Academies at Work Culinary students

Ozark Academies steps out of the classroom! Ozark School District is proud to announce the launch of its Registered Youth Apprenticeship program: Academies at Work. The program is an extension of Ozark’s Academy Program where students will get hands-on experience in their chosen career pathway while earning school credit and getting paid for their work.
