I am Alexis Ennis and this is my ninth year teaching ELA. I graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor's in Social Studies with a minor in English Literature and I went on to get a Master's in Teaching. My husband and I have a daughter named Ellie, who is a third grader this year, and we have a cat named James. I love to read, run and write in my free time. I have a YouTube channel where I interview kidlit authors and illustrators! I get to spend my weekends talking to creators and then share it with other educators and students. I am passionate about what I do and am looking forward to a wonderful year.

Hello, it's Laura Tacke. I'm certified in Elementary Education and Early Childhood and I have my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. This is my 13th year with Ozark. I started my career at Ozark Upper Elementary as a fifth grade science teacher. When our district shifted buildings, I moved to East Elementary and taught fifth grade math, science, and did a year of writing. When I'm not teaching I'm soaking up time with my family and friends. We love traveling, eating great food, and hanging out at the dog park.
