Raiders Place 1st, 11th, 15th in Sept. 17 Competition

The Ozark JROTC Raider Team traveled to Leavenworth, Kansas, Sept. 17 to compete in the annual First in the Nation, Pioneer Raider Challenge, placing first, 11th and 15th. This event consisted of 28 teams, eight individual team challenges and one ultimate raider challenge.

 

Ozark Team 1 (Black, 1st Male Team) placed 1st overall, with individual event finishes as follows:

  • Psycho Team Event - 1st place

  • Unconquered - 1st place

  • 5K Run - 1st place

  • Fired Up - 1st place

  • Obstacle Course - 4th place

  • Cross Country Litter Carry - 1st place

  • Physical Team Test - 3rd place

  • One-Rope bridge - 7th place 

  • Ultimate Raider - Eric Shepard: 1st place

Ozark Team 2 (White, Female Team) placed 11th overall, with individual event finishes as follows:

  • Psycho Team Event  - 11th place

  • Unconquered - 8th place

  • 5K Run - 15th place

  • Fired Up -23rd place

  • Obstacle Course - 5th place

  • Cross Country Litter Carry - 12th place

  • Physical Team Test -14th place

  • One-Rope bridge - 4th place

  • Ultimate Raider - Riley Ridinger: 1st place

The Ozark Raider female team was the only female team to compete, meaning they beat out several male and mixed teams. 

Ozark Team 3 (Red, 2nd Male Team) placed 15th overall, with individual event finishes as follows:

  • Psycho Team Event - 16th place

  • Unconquered - 18th place

  • 5K Run - 10th place

  • Fired Up - 12th place

  • Obstacle Course - 17th place

  • Cross Country Litter Carry - 17th place

  • Physical Team Test - 12th place

  • One-Rope bridge - 22nd place
