OHS Art Students Brighten Downtown Square with Holiday Window Decor

Ozark High School’s Painting and Drawing students put their creative skills on full display in downtown Ozark.

On Nov. 15, students spent the day painting holiday-themed designs on the windows for the courthouse and seven businesses in the downtown square. PMA Holdings, Market Café, Healy Law, Iguana Roja, Yellow Door Acupuncture, Ozark License Bureau and Martin Law all received a student-led holiday makeover for the exterior windows of their respective businesses.

“One of the businesses reached out to have their exterior office windows painted for the Christmas Parade and celebrations on the square,” said OHS Visual Arts teacher Ashleigh Hawkins. “It seemed like a great opportunity to get the students involved in the community and showcase our Ozark High School artists, so we began reaching out to other local businesses in the square and it turned into a really exciting experience for everyone involved!”
