OHS Participates in Poetry Out Loud

Congratulations to Ozark’s Poetry Out Loud school champion Hanna McConnell, runner-up Raegan Livers, and 12 classroom winners who competed in the annual poetry recitation contest. Hanna advances to Regionals, which are Feb. 19 at the Creamery Arts Center.

The annual Poetry Out Load National Recitation Contest encourages high school students to experience great poetry through participating in a dynamic nationwide recitation competition. This program helps students master public speaking skills, build self-confidence and learn about their literary heritage. OHS has participated for three years.
