Ozark High School marketing and DECA students partnered with Least of These to adopt two brothers for Christmas.
Matt Fevold, marketing teacher, said this is the second year the group has adopted a family for the holidays, and it’s a tradition the group plans to continue.
“There is a lot you can learn when you give to people in need,” he said. “It’s a valuable lesson to teach kids.”
About 20 students who are in marketing class, many who participate in DECA — a high school club that focuses on marketing, finance, hospitality and management — donated money and gifts to help give these boys, ages 5 and 10, a merry Christmas. Students also shopped as a group, picking out clothes and other gifts.
