Amanda Disseler Named Assistant Principal of Ozark Junior High School

The Ozark Board of Education voted to hire Amanda Disseler as the Ozark Junior High School assistant principal for the 2019-2020 school year during the Thursday, June 27 board meeting.

Disseler started her teaching career in 2010, joining Ozark School District in 2013 as an eighth-grade English teacher. She earned her Master of Education in Administration degree from William Woods University in 2012 and is currently working on her Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Evangel University.

“Over the years, Mrs. Disseler has been a leader in her department and has always put an emphasis on service to her students and the community,” OJH Principal Jim Hubbard said.

Disseler said she is honored and excited to serve the community of Ozark in this new capacity.

“It’s only because of the investment the District has made in me the past six years that this new opportunity is possible,” she said. “I am so thankful for the students and staff at OJH for their support and encouragement.”
