Ozark Brings Home Medals from State Science Olympiad
Three Ozark High School juniors attended the Science Olympiad State Tournament April 27, all bringing home medals.
Wade Smith took second place in boomilever, which is a structural building event, while Soyfa Whitwell and Riley Satterfield took fourth place in water quality.
Held at Westminster College in Fulton, the state tournament included students who won in their respective region, with eight regions total across the state. Competition included many private schools from the Kansas City and St Louis areas, and Ozark students finished among the top.
