Two Ozark Administrators Named Principals of the Year

The Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals named two Ozark administrators as principals of the year on Monday, Aug. 10.

Ozark High School Principal Jeremy Brownfield was named the Exemplary New Principal. The Exemplary New Principal award is open to administrators who have completed no more than three years as a middle school, junior high or high school principal. Brownfield has served as the principal at Ozark High School since 2017.

Ozark Junior High Assistant Principal Dr. Philip Link was named the Assistant Principal of the Year. This award is open to administrators who have been in the same position as middle school, junior high or high school assistant principal for three years or more. Link has served as the assistant principal at Ozark High School since

“I'm thrilled for Mr. Brownfield and Dr. Link. Truly, they are both very deserving of this accolade,” said Dr. Melia Franklin, executive director of secondary learning. “Both of these administrators are strong advocates for students and learning, work collaboratively with their peers, and are resolute leaders in our community.”
