Nathaniel Gillespie Named Assistant Principal of Ozark High School
The Ozark Board of Education voted to hire Nathaniel Gillespie as the Ozark High School assistant principal for the 2019-2020 school year during the Thursday, June 27 board meeting.
“We are looking forward to Mr. Gillespie bringing the wealth of experience he gained at Springfield Public Schools to Ozark High School,” OHS Principal Jeremy Brownfield said. “His ability to connect with students and parents will be a great asset to the District.”
Gillespie has been in education for more than 10 years, teaching Spanish and English, and most recently as the coordinator of site interventions at Central High School in Springfield Public Schools. He earned his Master’s Degree in School Administration from Lindenwood University in 2014 and is currently working toward is Doctorate in School Administration at Lindenwood University.
“I am excited to join the admin team and work with all the great people at Ozark High School,” Gillespie said. “I am ready to hit the ground running and cannot wait for the school year to begin. Go Tigers!”
