Ozark FBLA Recognized at State Leadership Conference

Ozark High School FBLA traveled to Springfield April 14-16 for the Missouri Future Business Leaders of America — Phi Beta Lambda State Leadership Conference.

Over 5,000 students and advisers came together for the four-day event, with over 150 business education related contests on topics ranging from accounting to website design. and marketing to mobile application development. 2019 marked the largest State Leadership Conference in Missouri history.

Congratulations to the following OHS students who were recognized for their accomplishments:

  • Nathaniel Kean – Second place Computer Problem Solving; Second place Cyber Security, national qualifier
  • Christian Armstrong – Sixth place Cyber Security; Eighth place Networking Concepts
  • Jeremi Elliott and Wyatt Long – Fifth place Public Service Announcements
  • Lauren Fergerson – Introduction to Financial Math, state qualifier
  • Seven Thomsen – Computer Problem Solving, Cyber Security, state qualifier
  • Tyler Abright – Agribusiness, state qualifier
  • Bailey Beard – Ozark High School Outstanding Member
