    In case Ozark School District needs to cancel school, use late start procedures or early release procedures due to inclement weather, we want you to be informed of the process. Student and faculty safety is the primary concern in making the call for cancellation versus late start or early release.

  • North CUB Gives Helping Hand

    Friendship, helping others and snacks — these are a few things North Elementary students say they like about CUB. “CUB is our Campus Union Board for third and fourth graders at North. There are two representatives elected from each third and fourth grade class at the beginning of the school year,” teacher Amanda Idell said. “We meet after school one time per month and focus on service projects throughout the year.”

  • OHS Multimedia Class Partners with Elementary Schools to Produce Christmas Programs

    It’s always a good day if you get to leave school to watch a Christmas program. However, these high schoolers weren’t skipping school. They were working on a class project. Students in the Ozark High School multimedia class recently visited elementary schools to video the Christmas programs so parents could watch virtually.

  • Ozark Students Win County Essay Contest

    In 100 years, Christian County students will know what it was like to be in school in 2021, thanks to Ozark students who participated Christian County’s essay contest, which asked students to answer the prompt, “What it’s like to be a student in 2021.” Winning essays were selected to be placed into the county time capsule. Winners included one East Elementary student and two North Elementary students.

  • North Elementary Gets Little Free Library

    North Elementary School’s PTA recently donated, built and installed a Little Free Library — a book-sharing box set up in communities where people can exchange books for free. The Little Free Library is available to anyone, however, since it’s at an elementary school, donated books should be geared toward younger readers.
