• OHS Science Olympiad Team Takes 2nd at Regionals

    The Ozark High School Science Olympiad Team is preparing for state competition after winning second place at the Southwest Regional Tournament Feb. 22 at Missouri State University. Ozark placed in 19 of the 23 events, securing a trophy and 44 medals or ribbons.

  • DECA State Bound, Sets New School Record

    Ozark High School set a new record this year for the number of DECA students who qualify for state competition. Out of the 94 Ozark students who competed at the District Career Development Conference Feb. 20 in Springfield, 30 students are now sharpening their skills and preparing for state.

  • FBLA brings home 32 medals from District Leadership Conference

    Ozark FBLA participated in the District Leadership Conference Feb. 4 at Missouri State University where eight students were named district champions. Thirty-five Ozark High School students participated in the competition, bringing home 32 medals in 26 events.

  • Missouri Sports Hall of Fame Inducts Ozark Cheer

    Ozark Cheer is among the 20 Class of 2020 inductees of the January Enshrinement presented by Killian Construction, which was held at the University Plaza Hotel & Convention Center in Springfield. It is the first cheer program in the state of Missouri to be inducted.

  • OHS Musicians Named to All-State Band

    Three Ozark High School Tiger Pride Band students are now a part of the Missouri All-State Band. After a long day of blind auditions Dec. 7 in Columbia, Mason Waltke made the Missouri All-State Orchestra Winds & Percussion on bassoon; Brady Perkins made the Missouri All-State Band; and Brett Meyer made Missouri All-State Band Honorable Mention on trombone.

    Ozark School District has selected the programs to be moved to the Innovation Center. Keep in mind, this is a fluid process and we may need to make adjustments as we progress. The goal is to move 400+ students from the high school to accommodate a return to the 9-12th grade configuration.
