OHS Students Build Outdoor Learning Space for South Elementary

Students in Ms. Wilberding’s fourth grade class at South Elementary recently enjoyed reading in their new outdoor classroom featuring benches handcrafted by students in the Construction Trades program at Ozark High School.

The project gave OHS students the opportunity to apply their construction skills in a meaningful, real-world setting while creating a welcoming outdoor learning space for younger students to enjoy reading and learning outside the classroom.

District staff said the collaboration is a great example of Ozark students supporting one another and making a positive impact across the district through hands-on learning and service.
