Ozark Band and Choir Shine at District Solo & Ensemble Contest
Ozark band and choir students kicked off spring break in style by competing in the District Solo and Ensemble contest on March 7. The choir took 68 students, earning 30 Gold ratings and 16 Silver ratings. The band brought 74 members with 40 entries receiving Gold ratings and 15 entries receiving Silver ratings. All solos and ensembles who earned a Gold rating qualified to compete at the State Solo and Small Ensemble Contest at Mizzou in May. Several of these students participated in multiple events.
