Science Meets Competition: OHS Students Represent at National Anatomage Tournament

Ozark High School students Brodie Mohler, Sebastian Villarreal, and Lexie Zagorodny recently represented their school at the National Anatomage Tournament held May 30–31 at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. After earning top-four finishes at the Missouri State Anatomage Tournament during the Missouri HOSA State Leadership Conference in March, these students qualified to compete on the national stage.

During the event, Brodie, Sebastian, and Lexie tested their skills across several challenging competitions, including anatomy identification on the Anatomage Table and Tablet, a multidisciplinary Science Table challenge covering biology, chemistry, and physics, and a lively Kahoot! trivia contest blending anatomy with pop culture. Additionally, they enhanced their learning by participating in workshops such as suturing and attending a Q&A panel with a physician from the Las Vegas Rodeo.

This unique experience provided invaluable hands-on learning and real-world insights, made possible thanks to the generous sponsorship from CoxHealth.

OHS is proud to support these students as they demonstrate academic excellence and passion for science on a national platform.
