Substitute Information
Ozark School District is partnering with Penmac Education Staffing to manage the District’s substitute staffing needs. We believe this will result in many great opportunities for our substitutes, including first-class training and excellent health and retirement benefits.
Penmac is an employee-owned company founded in Springfield, MO, in 1988. Penmac is a leader in staffing and benefits administration, and they have a passion for public education. Under this new partnership, Penmac will handle all substitute recruiting, screening, hiring, training, payroll, and benefits for the District (Sub Bus Aide, Sub Custodial, Sub Teacher, Sub Para, Sub Clerical).
Working for Penmac, our Missouri retired teachers may work additional hours per year and still draw their teaching retirement (we will keep you apprised if legislation changes this status).
