<span "="" comic="" sans="" ms";="" 14pt;'=""> Welcome to my web site....I am the daughter of an Air Force Colonel who has lived all over the United States. My favorite place to live was Charleston, South Carolina.
<span "="" comic="" sans="" ms";="" 14pt;'=""> One of my favorite authors  from South Carolina is Pat Conroy. He says, "My heart sings when a kid refers to me as his 'teacher' and it always has. I have honored myself and the entire family of man by becoming a teacher." I love this quote. I believe in this quote.
I have worked at Ozark High School for 20+ years and have enjoyed it immensely. The community is friendly and very supportive and the students are hard working and take pride in their work.
The courses I teach are Drama 1, Advanced Drama, (2,3,4 and 5), Stagecraftand Publication (yearbook and newspaper). I advise the yearbook the Ozarkamo and the newspaper, the Ozark News.
The classes that I teach are full participation classes. There is very little homework because the majority of work is done in class. There are times in DRAMA when a student will work at home on memorization, blocking or characterization.
As well, students might have to attend a game or some event to take pictures or get the story for newspaper or yearbook.
In stagecraft all the work is done in the time frame of the class. These are the reasons that I stress to my students that ATTENDANCE is a must for my classes.
If your child misses too many classes and is in danger of failing, you will either get an email or a phone call from me.
