Mrs. Allyson Browning

Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by! My name is Allyson Browning and while this is my first year in Ozark this will be my fifth year teaching social studies. Previously, I taught middle school American History in Clever, MO for four years and was the building subsitute at Carver Middle School in Springfield, MO before that. Suprisingly enough I did my student teaching in 2009 in Ozark with Coach Leighty. I am beyond blessed to be back in the district and look forward to being an OZARK TIGER for many years to come.

I grew up in St. Charles, just outside of St. Louis until I moved to Springfield for college in 2003. I recieved my bachlors in Secondary Education in 2009 and my Master's in Elementary Education in 2013. I am currenlty working towards completing my specialist through the University of Missouri in Technology in Schools.

My husband, 2 daughters, 4 dogs, and foster dogs live in Ozark and have for the past 10 years. My husband is a probation and parole officer for Christian County and for some reason likes the Cubs (booooooooo). Aubrey is 9 and Zoey is 7 and they fight pretty much all of the time. They are the definition of a love/hate relationship. When they are not fighting we are busy taking them to either soccer, volleyball, or tumbling. In our free time my family volunteers with Rescue One. Rescue One is a foster-based, no-kill, dog rescue. Since starting our foster journey in the summer of 2016 we have fostered and adopted out over 30 loveable pups. When we are not helping out dogs in need you can usually find us on the river or down at our farm in Ava.
