Who am I?

I am a wife, mother and teacher that loves learning! I grew up in Olathe, KS and moved to Ozark, MO right before junior high. I graduated from Ozark High School in 1989. After this I began my college career at Drury University, graduating in 1993.  After college graduation I worked in the Drury University Admission Office as an Admissions Representative for four years. I loved traveling the midwest and telling others about the school. During this time I married my husband, Ronnie, and we both worked towards our teaching certifications. I have been teaching since 1997 and have been in several districts. Over the years I have taught preschool, kindergarten, first grade, second grade, third/forth Title 1 and art; I have been in Monett, Nixa, Ozark, Sparta and The Summit Prepartory School (Springfield,MO).

Outside of teaching I love spending time with my family. I have been married to Ronnie since 1995 and we are both passionate about promoting/maintaining a happy, healthy marriage! We have two daughters that are as different as night and day! We wouldn't want it any other way. Emma was born in 1998 and is attending Mizzou with the goal of becoming a veterinarian. Addi was born in 2000 and will graduate from Ozark High School in 2018. She loves playing soccer and can be found on the field coaching, reffing or playing.
