Mr. John Wilkins

  • I am so happy to begin my third year at Ozark High School. I currently serve as a choir director at both the Jr. High and High School, as well as  music director for the musical, and the manager of auditorium activities.   I teach 4 sections of choir at the high school and 2 sections of choir a the Jr. High. I graduated from Webb City High School  and grew up in the Joplin area. I recieved my bachelors degree in vocal performance with a minor in German, from Missouri Southern State University. I recieved my masters degree from Missouri State University in choral conducting. While there I served as a graduate assitant to Dr. Guy B. Webb. I recieved my teaching certification from Central Methodist University and began teaching in 2014 for the Poplar Bluff School District. I am a major MLB and PGA fan, often watching both at the same time on diffrent devices. I live in Ozark with my wife who is the music teacher at South Elementary. We love Ozark and are proud to be Tigers!
