Witt to Take the Reins at Ozark High School

The Ozark Board of Education, at its May 28 work session, voted for Dr. Phillip Witt to lead Ozark High School as principal for the 2024-25 school year. Witt is replacing Dr. Jeremy Brownfield, who is transitioning to the Lebanon School District.

Academies at Work Culinary students

Ozark Academies steps out of the classroom! Ozark School District is proud to announce the launch of its Registered Youth Apprenticeship program: Academies at Work. The program is an extension of Ozark’s Academy Program where students will get hands-on experience in their chosen career pathway while earning school credit and getting paid for their work. 
 

Kamran Hinton signs with MSU Bear Power

OHS Senior Kamran Hinton is ready to take the next steps in his education. On May 22, he signed with Missouri State to be a part of the Bear POWER program, the second Ozark student to do so.

Spring of 2024 has already proven the need for Ozark School District to have a storm shelter at every building. And, as of May 21, Ozark is one step closer with the official Ribbon Cutting for the storm shelter at Tiger Paw Early Childhood Center.

You're invited to join Ozark School District for the official Ribbon Cutting to celebrate the opening of the Tiger Paw Early Childhood Center storm shelter and new cafeteria. Ozark voters approved the $19 million no-tax-increase bond issue on the April 5, 2022, ballot.
