  • Tiger Drill Team Brings Home National Trophies

    It wasn’t easy, but the 40 members of the Ozark JROTC Battalion Drill Team agree it was worth it. The team placed in the top 10 in all of their events at the U.S. Army Drill National Competition March 30 in Richmond, Virginia, bringing home a second-place overall finish for Armed and a ninth-place overall finish for Unarmed.

    Did you know that in Haiti, many mothers don’t have diapers for their babies? Ozark High School FCCLA students were heartbroken when they learned that fact, so they decided to take action, staying after school to sew cloth diapers.

  • Ozark DECA Students Qualify for International Conference

    On March 24-26, 27 Ozark High School students competed at the DECA State Career Development Conference in Kansas City and 14 students placed in their events to qualify for the International Career Development Conference in Orlando, Florida, in April.

  • Two OHS Seniors Receive Honorable Mention for Missouri Scholars 100

    The Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals awarded Ozark High School seniors Caroline Taylor and Kaitlyn Short honorable mention for the 2019 Missouri Scholars 100, a statewide program that honors 100 of Missouri’s top academic students in the graduating class.

  • Stacie Wood Named Ozark High School Assistant Principal

    Stacie Wood has been teaching sixth grade English Language Arts with Ozark School District since 2004. Wood began her career in education in 1998 as a paraprofessional with Springfield Public Schools.

  • FCCLA Students Headed to Nationals

    Ozark High School juniors Meagan Smith and Eliza McComas earned a gold rating at the Missouri FCCLA State Leadership Conference March 17-19 and will now represent the state in California this summer at the National FCCLA Conference.

    Nearly 50 Ozark High School choir and band students will perform at state competition in April, after receiving “exemplary” ratings at the MSHSAA Music Festival March 9 at Clever High School.

  • OHS Horse Judging Team to Compete in World Show

    Four Ozark High School FFA members will represent the Missouri Quarter Horse Association at the world show this summer after taking first place in horse judging at the MQHA Winter Blast Contest in St. Louis Feb. 23.
