  • Ozark School District Hires New Administrators for 2021-22 School Year

    The Ozark Board of Education, at its Feb. 18 meeting, voted to hire two new administrators for the 2021-22 school year. Dr. Morgan Kelly was named North Elementary principal and Tom Colvin was named Ozark Junior High assistant principal.

  • Inclement Weather Procedures

    In case Ozark School District needs to cancel school, use late start procedures or early release procedures due to inclement weather, we want you to be informed of the process. Student and faculty safety is the primary concern in making the call for cancellation versus late start or early release.

  • Preschool Screening Registration Open for Tiger Paw

    Children who live in Ozark School District may be eligible to attend one of the Early Childhood Preschool programs, and can participate in a free preschool screening. Slated March 22-26, screenings are open for children who will be 3 years old on or before July 31, and children who are 4 years old.

  • North Elementary Gets Little Free Library

    North Elementary School’s PTA recently donated, built and installed a Little Free Library — a book-sharing box set up in communities where people can exchange books for free. The Little Free Library is available to anyone, however, since it’s at an elementary school, donated books should be geared toward younger readers.

    The Missouri Association of Elementary School Principals named two Ozark administrators, Dr. Kim Fitzpatrick and Anna Thurman, as principals of the year for the Southwest Region on Dec. 7.

    Just one month after being named a Missouri Gold Star School, Ozark West Elementary added a national title to its resume — 2020 Exemplary High Performing National Blue Ribbon School.

    On Aug. 20, the first day of school for the 2020-21 school year, the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) announced that Ozark West Elementary School was one of seven Missouri Gold Star Schools for 2020.

  • Voters Approve Ozark School District’s $26.5 Million No Tax Increase Bond Issue

    Ozark School District is pleased to announce the passage of the $26.5 million no tax increase bond issue, Operation Renovate and Innovate, after the June 2 election. 62.14% of votes cast were in favor of the ballot initiative.
